Upcoming talent and industry veterans mingle at Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party

Upcoming names and veterans of the creative industries mixed on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party.

The big and small screen stars were pictured alongside the musical talent at the event in south London on Thursday night.

Among those making appearances were stars of popular TV shows like Derry Girls, It’s A Sin, Game Of Thrones and The Inbetweeners.

Big musical names of the 2000s included Nicola Roberts, Frankie Bridge, and American singer Ashley Roberts.

Roberts, who was part of the English-Irish pop group Girls Aloud from 2002 to 2013, wore a shimmering maroon button-up dress.

She accessorized the outfit with a small black bag topped with red roses.

2000s pop star Bridge opted for a high-necked blue knit dress with unique cutout details.

Bridge began his career in 2001 as part of S Club Juniors before successfully auditioning for The Saturdays in 2007.

Pussycat Dolls star Ashly Roberts braved the frigid February conditions in a more daring outfit.

The singer wore a small light pink corset top, with matching pants, although she left her shoulders completely exposed.

AJ Odudu also went for a lighter option for the evening.

The announcer and host wore long black pants with a petite, jewel-encrusted purple top in the shape of a butterfly, which was shoulderless and backless.

Odudu recently hosted this year’s Eurovision Song Contest award ceremony, to be held in Liverpool, along with fellow TV personality Rylan Clark.

Elsewhere, the stars of the sixth grade sitcom The In Betweeners, Emily Attack and Blake Harrison, reunited.

Atack wore a black midi dress with a large feather trim and matching black heels.

It comes after the release of her moving documentary Emily Attack: Asking For It? which aired on BBC Two on Tuesday night.

Harrison opted for a collarless black button-down shirt under a simple blue suit.

Derry Girls star Dylan Llewellyn and It’s A Sin actor Nathaniel Curtis also sported a simple yet daring look.

Llewellyn, who plays English cousin James in the Northern Ireland sitcom, wore a moss green suit, with flared trousers and a white T-shirt.

Curtis, who played Ash Mukherjee, in the emotional Channel 4 drama, wore a deep red-orange double-breasted jacket with a black T-shirt.

Game of Thrones actress Gemma Whelan wore a black and white maxi dress, featuring a geometric pattern, and added a pop of color with bright pink high heels.

Actors from the Star Wars franchise also attended the event, including Naomi Ackie and Varada Sethu, who stars in the award-winning Disney+ spin-off series Andor.
