Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania new trailer

Super Bowl 2023 is shaping up to be a must-see, even if you’re not into football.

Rihanna will not only be performing during the halftime show, but we’re also looking forward to seeing trailers for some of the most anticipated movies of the year.

The Big Game attracts a massive television audience, so Hollywood studios often spend big to promote their upcoming blockbusters during commercial breaks.

US broadcaster Fox is charging a record $7 million (£5.7 million) for 30-second ads during the game, according to Variety.

Last year, we were treated to trailers for Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Jordan Peele’s sci-fi horror Nope, and Jurassic World: Dominion.

We also watched TV shows like The Rings of Power, Moon Knight, and the later seasons of Better Call Saul and Killing Eve.

This year’s Super Bowl kicks off at 11:30pm UK time on February 12. Here are the trailers that could debut during the game.

Wonderful

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will land in theaters on February 17, just five days after the Super Bowl, so there’s a good chance we’ll get a deeper look at Marvel’s sequel.

Paul Rudd will make a separate appearance as Ant-Man in a Heineken ad during the game. A 15-second preview was posted online last month.

Marvel could also release teasers for James Gunn guardians of the galaxy vol. 3which will be out on May 5th, and the wonders (28 of July).

But there will probably be no announcements for the Disney+ series. secret invasion, according to Term. The Samuel L Jackson-directed show does not yet have a release date.

Away from Marvel, Disney could splurge to promote its live-action remake of The little Mermaidstarring Halle Bailey as Ariel and will be released on May 26.

The studio may also reveal new teasers for Pixar. Elementary (June 16), and the return of Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the dial of fate (June 30th).

DC’s first full trailer The flash (June 16), starring Ezra Miller as the superhero, is expected to make his big debut during the Super Bowl.

We might as well enjoy a Michael B Jordan promo creed III, before the film opens on March 3.

Universal

Elizabeth Banks’ horror comedy cocaine bear will be promoted with a pre-game announcement, ahead of its February 24 release.

We can also expect to see the trailer for x fastthe tenth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, before the film hits theaters on May 19.

But Deadline reports that The Super Mario Bros. movie (April 7) isn’t getting the Super Bowl promotional treatment.

meta-horror sequel scream VI comes out on March 10, so the Super Bowl would be the ideal time to drop a new trailer.

same goes for Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (March 31), which features an all-star cast including Hugh Grant, Chris Pine and Regé-Jean Page.

Paramount could also promote summer blockbuster Transformers: Rise of Beasts (June 9), the ninth installment in the action franchise.

But we may not get a new trailer for the long overdue Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (July 14) yet.
